Wind Walkers was directed by Russell Friedenberg and starred Glen Powell, Zane Holtz, and Rudy Youngblood. The final feature for the 8 Films to Die For series, it broadcasts a post-war story between friends and provides a creepy Everglades backdrop.

 

Wind Walkers fuses together elements of actual West Indian folklore, the nature appeal, and PTSD inspired first-person distortion. It recently screened at the 3rd Annual Native American Film Festival at the University of Nebraska (Omaha), ranking among the most highly regarded, up-and-coming, contemporary Native American films.
