8 FILMS TO DIE FOR

Annual Halloween-time special, 8 Films to Die For screened 8 movies in succession during October: Re-Kill, Murder in the Dark, The Wicked Within, Lumberjack Man, Suspension, Unnatural, Bastard, and Wind Walkers.

 

The event showed the works of directors Valeri Milev, Dagen Merrill, Jay Alaimo, Josh Bear, Jeffery Scott Lando, Hank Braxtan, Powell Robinson and Patrick Robert Young, and Russell Friedenberg. From decadent gore, to stimulating psychological thriller, the movies offered a ‘spooktastic’ spectrum of horrors appropriate for late fall.

 

Halloween-related terms, like "October," "haunted house," and "scary movies" were the most trending.
